Hate being in Love with You

Like most young girls I grew up reading Mills&Boons which fills your head with romantic notions. A beautiful girl in distress and a drop dead gorgeous incredibly rich young man meet fall in love, face some inconsequential turmoil and end up living happily married ever after. Life however is a little more complicated and for us twice over because we have both real as well as virtual identities(read facebook).
So where does this silent predator finds us...maybe at McD or a KFC when you were introduced to a mutual friend, at office when you are working late hours to meet crazy deadlines, when you can pour your heart out to someone in times of loneliness...just about anywhere.Life is a paradise during those initial days, isn't it?
Like all good things once the novelty begins to wear off. The not so perfect face of Love emerges...expectations lead to disappointments, both try to change each other to fit the mold of romantic notions from days of naivety, doubts insecurities shroud the erstwhile happy moments, the power someone else holds on you gets scary...In short the thought of what ifs absolutely ruins the present.
Before you mistake me for a cynic, I would like to say that despite these numerous odds lovers find a way to be with each other, to cry and laugh umpteen times a day, pretend to play a part for the sake of a tiny smile and the most amazing thing which the earlier generation sees as fickleness is  actually the courage of two people to let go when being together turns their beautiful relationship miserable.

We can't help falling in Love even if we Hate it :)
